Amy Tessaro is originally from Haida Gwaii and was raised in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.  Amy learned all of her stained glass techniques from her late father, Bruce Tessaro, who studied as a stained glass artist for over thirty years.  Amy enjoys working with various mediums however stained glass has remained her passion.  Amy has been teaching stained glass for over ten years.  She enjoys the teachings that come from the art form and has been quoted as saying “ I think I have finally practiced patience.” Amy’s most favourite student, is her son Antonio; he received his first set of stained glass tools from his late grandfather.  Like his mother, Antonio enjoys teaching stained glass and mosaics.
