Teresa Vander Meer-Chassé (b. 1992) is a proud member of the White River First Nation of Beaver Creek, Yukon. Her beadwork is inspired by the strong women and the support of the caring men in her life. Teresa defines herself as an Upper Tanana visual artist and garbage beautifier. Her style is unique and often draws upon her cultural past in a contemporary way.

Beaded Keychains for Beginners with Teresa Vander Meer-Chasse

In this workshop you will learn the fundamental techniques of beading as you create a small floral pattern. This workshop is a 2-day workshop, the first day we will learn the fundamentals of beading as well as it’s history in Yukon and begin beading; the next day, we will focus on completing the artwork and walking away with a keychain.
