Digital Knowledge Keeping Collection

The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new Digital Knowledge Keeping Collection — an online space dedicated to sharing and preserving Indigenous cultural knowledge through video storytelling. This collection features Yukon First Nation knowledge holders, artists, and Elders sharing teachings, skills, and reflections connected to traditional practices, creativity, and community. From hide tanning and carving to beadwork, weaving, and drum making, these videos honour both the practical and cultural significance of each practice.
The new website will also provide access to over 120 works from the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre’s permanent art collection, allowing visitors to explore Indigenous artworks, collections, and cultural materials online for the first time. Stay tuned — the website will be launching soon!

This project is funded by the Government of Canada.
