Deadline for applications: April 23, 2021

Artists will be required to set up their studio for a three-week period, and throughout this time, demonstrate their art form at the KDCC. These requirements will be adapted to our new reality and will be done in compliance with current Government of Yukon’s COVID-19’s safety measures. Demonstrations may be done in person at the KDCC’s Culture Cabins, or digitally through Facebook live videos, photos, interviews, etc.

During their time at the Centre, the artist will also deliver a workshop that is open to the public, participate in a social media takeover and create a piece for a Fall opening exhibit at KDCC.

Who Should Apply? Application is open to traditional, contemporary, emerging and master Indigenous artists that practice visual arts, fashion, traditional crafts, dancing, drumming or other art forms.

Funding for this project is made possible through the assistance of Arts Fund, Department of Tourism and Culture, Jeanie McLean, Minister.
